The Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) collection
is an integral part in creating sound and accurate contours
at the
desired interval.
IMC utilizes VrOne software to collect and edit the data. We
collect many of the planimetric features as DTM. These features
are supplemented by break lines and spots to accurately model
the terrain. The operators can instantly generate contours to
place spot elevations and QC the data while the stereo model
is still in the instrument.
VrOne software is designed for mapping, it uses sophisticated
smart algorithms that creates Triangulated Irregular Network
(TIN) which connects all DTM points with gradated elevation lines
resulting in an accurate topographic representation of the terrain.
A 3D rendering and visualization tool is
also applied from different angles to QC the DTM data. Our
clients receive a 3D DTM file
that only contains the appropriate layers to be used as part
of the TIN in the desired Autocad or Microstation format. |
